BIO:

Samantha Marsh Hollins began her job as Assistant Superintendent, Department of Special Education and Student Services in Virginia in 2019. Prior to becoming the Assistant Superintendent, Department of Special Education and Student Services in Virginia, Samantha served as a local special education director, higher education faculty, and researcher and policy analyst in the areas of education, employment, and civil rights of individuals with disabilities.

Samantha believes the best part about leading special education in Virginia is working with the amazing students, staff, and families to ensure that we are maximizing the potential of all learners in Virginia.
