J David Sienko began his job as Director in Rhode Island in 2010. Prior to becoming the Director in Rhode Island, David served as the IDEA Secondary Transition Coordinator for the RI Department of Education.
David believes the best part about leading special education in Rhode Island is to advocate for our children at the systems level to bring students, families, and school leaders together to continuously improve results for our students.
