NASDSE represents the concerns of the state directors of special education in the states and territories to the three branches of the federal government, federal agencies and in pertinent nationwide coalitions.

 

NASDSE enables the advocacy of its membership by sharing timely and actionable information while being a positive influence regarding relevant and complex issues related to special education. Every day whether fighting for increases in funding or creating and enhancing relationships, all efforts are geared toward supporting the organizational vision, mission, and improving outcomes for students with disabilities.

NASDSE belongs to numerous coalitions including:
