This In-Brief Policy Analysis describes some of the ways deaf-blind projects collect National Assistance Consortium for Children and Youth with Deaf-Blindness (NTAC) census data; compare the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs Child Count and NTAC census data for 10 states; and identify issues, concerns and recommendations shared by deaf-blind directors related to the discrepancy between these figures.
